IO-Link Temperature Sensors

Innovation often arrives in the smallest of packages. This rings especially true for our Evomini IO-Link series. Our IO-Link temperature probes open up a wide range of possibilities for digitally integrating your equipment and processes. Our engineering team has worked hard to bring the devices into the form factor you know and love from our analog transmitters as well as our Modbus transmitters.

Enjoy seamless IO-Link connectivity in a housing barely bigger than a thumb. Available either with integrated temperature probe or as a standalone module, you can mount our Evomini IO-Link devices even in the tightest of spaces.

Diagnostics and predictive maintenance
IO-Link temperature sensors provide diagnostic information. This allows you to detect potential problems at an early stage and take preventive action – thus avoiding unplanned downtime.

Standardized communication and high compatibilityt
The products in our Evomini IO-Link series can be seamlessly integrated into a wide range of automation systems in combination with other devices.

Simple installation without cable clutter
Mount the sensor, plug in the M12 connector and off you go!

Future-proof and scalable
Bring your temperature sensor technology up to date with Evomini IO-Link and adapt the sensors flexibly to your requirements.

Yes, all Evomini IO-Link temperature sensors and transmitters are equipped with a characteristic, configurable LED ring. This allows you to recognise the current status of the device at a glance.

Our IO-Link temperature sensors and IO-Link transmitters are available in three different designs:

As a pure IO-Link transmitter with M12 connectors on both sides. This transmitter is compatible with all Pt100 / Pt1000 temperature sensors with M12 connectors. If you need a suitable sensor, we recommend our sheath resistance thermometers.

As a screw-in sensor with integrated IO-Link transmitter. The screw-in sensor is a good choice if you want to insert the sensor into the process using an existing thread.

As a sheath resistance thermometer with integrated IO-Link transmitter. The sheath sensor is a good solution for particularly tight installation spaces as it is flexible. It is also extremely robust and has a very wide temperature band.

The devices are also available with a stainless steel housing.

In principle, you can measure very high temperatures of up to 500 °C, especially with the sheath sensor with integrated transmitter. However, you must select a sufficiently long sensor so that the electronics and plastic are not jeopardised. The circuit board is the most temperature-sensitive component and can withstand temperatures of up to 85 °C. Our experts will be happy to advise you on choosing the right length!

We manufacture our IO-Link temperature sensors at our headquarters in Cremona, Italy. For you, this means short distances, uncomplicated logistics and fast delivery times.

The following rule of thumb applies to the response time of a sensor: If you double the diameter, you quadruple the response time. So choose the diameter carefully!

As with all temperature sensors, the immersion length should be at least 5 times the diameter of the sensor in order to avoid thermal bridges.
